Tasting notes
This is a deeper style of Barbaresco. Boasting mature red & dark fruits, earthy notes with mineral vein and complexing floral notes. Soft mouthfeel, with a dense palate showing power and structure. Sweet ripe fruit balances the grippy tannins on the finish. Long. “Wonderful balance and depth with lots of studding. Coating tannins are perfectly integrated into the whole. Almost too easy to like.” Walter Speller, 17 Points, Purple Pages (May 2019)

Barbaresco Angelo DOCG

From: £87.47

“Angelo” is a special Barbaresco to our family, one in which we have dedicated in memory to our father Angelo. We first started to produce this wine in 2013 with the assembly of grapes produced in the many Nebbiolo vineyards cultivated in Barbaresco and San Rocco Seno d’Elvio. The vinification happens in a vertical oak fermenter, and will undergo an extended maceration with a submerged cap for a futher 50 days. This process will generate a traditional, rich and pleasant wine.
