So-named because the current owner’s great grandfather worked for thee local railway company, this 150 hectare organic estate was established in 1970 in Contrada Ciafone on the Adriatic coast of Le Marche and is now under the direction of brothers Massimiliano and Walter Bartolomei. The Vineyards lie among the rolling hills of Le Marche’s Offida region where the proximity to the Adriatic Sea, combined with 300m of altitude create a unique micro-climate which ensures exceptional growing conditions. This particular white is a blend of every white grape grown on the estate: Trebbiano, Pecorino, Passerian with a splash of Chardonnay. All the grapes are grown organically, without any systemic fungicides, pesticides or herbicides and fermentation takes place naturally in stainless steel. Fresh, fun and vibrant!

A clear pale-lemon with green hues, the nose displays enticing aromas of honeysuckle, peach and lychee. On the palate, medium-bodied with a well balanced acidity. The finish is fresh with a touch of spice. Try with spicy shrimps, tagliatelle with white truffle or cuttlefish with chick peas.
