Prosciutto Parma Ham DOP (100g)

Prosciutto di Parma has Protected Designation of Origin status. To merit the Parma Ham crown (the stamp reserved for genuine PDO Parma Ham), the product must be made with only fresh haunches from well-reared pigs; it must be very carefully and attentively monitored during maturation, and have developed the unmistakeably mild flavour. The only ingredient permitted for use in processing Parma Ham is salt; the product may not be smoked or frozen. Salumificio Pedrazzoli’s organic Prosciutto di Parma Bio is produced entirely without preservatives. The only raw materials we use are: quality meat, the right amount of sea salt, time (maturation lasts 16/18 months) and lots of fresh, dry air.
