We already have 15 years of experience in the business from running our fine-dining Italian restaurant before moving into Mari.
Many celebrities and footballers in and around Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham, appreciated our fine Italian cuisine, even the Evening Standard.
Every dish on offer at Mari is prepared in our own kitchen, using the most natural and very best tasting ingredients we can find, whether that’s from Italy, the UK, or further afield. Just one example: we import our buffalo milk products direct, with Mario going to Heathrow himself to pick it up (normally in the small hours!). In fact, we’re probably the only shop in the UK to offer burrata di bufala!
Almost all our ingredients and produce is organic, and much of it is fair-trade – not just because the health and welfare of animals and people is extremely important to us, but also because we simply believe it’s the route to the best tasting food.
