Tasting notes
Deep garnet ruby-red color, it is a full and harmonic wine, the bouquet verges on dried fruit, violet, blackberry, raspberry with hints of spices coming form the barrels. Deep, dry and full-bodied taste, long and lingering with the correct degree of tannin.

Soil: rocky and abundant minerals of iron which give the tipical reddish colour to the indigenous rock
Climate: typical of the piedmont area, in respect to that of the plain. It permits an even distribution of precipitation between both spring and autumn, and a ventilation of the vineyard supported by almost daily “descending” winds brought about by the Alpine bow. In the winter, snow is frequent, which supports the slow process of sedimentation of the soil
Harvest: first part of October
Winemaking: crushed and macerated for about 15 days in stain-less steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine is aged for 4 years. 3 years in oak casks of different origin and sizes, then rests in the bottle for 8 months
Wine Description: this wine is produced only in the best vintages. A deep pomegranate red wine; with a delicate fruity and mineral fragrance with hints of cherries, rose, liquorice and pepper. Fresh, with silky tannins, with a long and smooth finish
