A fabulous red ruby color with garnet highlights, this Montepulciano d’Abruzzo is intense and persistent, with spicy aromas, hints of chocolate and tar. The dominant flavor however, on both the nose and palate, is the copious fruit. This wine boasts good structure, tannins and a reassuring balance.

Vinification: Bloodletting equal to 10%, low temperatures in the first days of fermentation to extract the polyphenols, substances responsible for the red color and then control of temperatures around 27 ° C. Malolactic fermentation and aging in barriques for about 13 months (60% of French origin and 40% of American origin).
Sensory Features: Clear, compact, very consistent color, ruby red with purple reflections. The olfactory examination reveals excellent intensity and good complexity, hints of ripe red fruit, amaretto, marzipan and sweet spices are recognized. The taste is dry and warm, soft with fine tannins that are velvety to the touch. It is a wine of excellent flavor and good balance.
Pairings: It goes well with robust first courses, with typical Abruzzese cold cuts and with roasted and stewed meats.
