Alto Adige Sauvignon Porphyr & Kalk DOC
This ancient grape variety from France was introduced in South Tyrol towards the end of the 19th century.
The grapes are grown on our sloping sites in Appiano Monte and Cornaiano and blended in the winemaking process in the cellar. The Cornaiano sites contribute notes of lemon balm and tropical fruits, while the grapes from Appiano Monte deliver aromas of gooseberry and nettle. This twin location strategy enables us to produce a striking Sauvignon, with expressive aromas, full body and persistent finish.
