A ruby red with powerful aromas of concentrated and ripe red and black fruits. The fruit aroma reaches a wonderful depth and is complemented by herbal and medicinal hints. The palate is beautiful; silky, rounded and textured with red and black fruits, perfume and liquorice notes. The tannins are ripe and firm with a balancing acidity and lingering notes of dried cherries.
Barbaresco
Vineyard: various vineyards in the DOCG zone
Soil: limestone and clay, rich in calcium with sandy veins
Vintage: full body vintage, bright red fruit and spicy flavours with a powerfull tanninc finish.
Vinification: stainless steel tanks, 30 days on the skin at 28°c (80°f). Pumping over 2-3 times a day.
Ageing: 24 months in large oak casks
Bottling date: march 2020
Total production: approx. 264,000 bottles (22,000 cases)
