Vin Santo in Tuscany represented the hospitality and friendship offered to the tourist who passed through this region. Fattoria dei Barbi has always shared this philosophy and has been producing Vin Santo since 1870, possessing a collection that is the most complete among those existing in Tuscany and probably the largest in the world. Even today the tradition of this sweet, special and rare wine is kept alive at the Barbi; the annual production is a few bottles per year given the complexity of production that involves very low yields of grapes into wine.
